I'm taking it back to the motherland! The song you hear playing on my blog right now is a song by a Nigerian artist called Ikechukwu. It features other Nigerian big names Don Jazzy and D'Banj (love him!). The song is called, "Wind Am Well". It's kind of self-explanatory - it means just wind your hips well. The song, as in the title, includes some pidgin - a language spoken in West Africa - particularly Cameroon (my homeland!), Nigeria, Togo and Ghana. "Wind Am Well" is not a very new song, it's probably been around for about a month or so but it's doing very well on the charts in Nigeria, Africa and Europe! I will not be surprised if this dude is nominated for an MTV award...and he could win. D'Banj won it last year! This must be hype in the African clubs in Texas, CANNOT WAIT to go back and dance to this in the club. You know what, because I'm feeling this song a lot right now, I'm just gonna include the music video also:
