MY PRESIDENT IS BLACK!

On November 4, 2008 at approximately 11:00pm, Barack Obama gained over 270 electoral votes and was elected the 44th President of the United States of America. The people have spoken. Change has definitely come to America. I feel so lucky and blessed that I lived through such a historic event. A black man was elected as President. That is a story I will keep telling my children and grandchildren and great grandchildren - hopefully I live as long as the 106 year old woman he talked about in his victory speech, who lived to see an African-American elected to the highest office in the world.
