Miriam Makeba, one of South Africa's most iconic musicians, died after collapsing on stage in Italy. She was 76 years old. She is known worldwide for her famous hit, "Pata Pata" and you might remember her from the South African movie "Sarafina" as the lead actress' mother. May she rest in eternal peace.
