Today is the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day. In 2007, an estimated 33.2 million people lived with the disease worldwide, and it killed an estimated 2.1 million people, including 330,000 children.
A country which I personally feel for particularly is Zimbabwe. I lived there for 10 years before coming to college and I can say that the AIDS pandemic there is PRETTY BAD. 1 in 7 people in Zimbabwe are infected with the HIV Virus. Seriously?
