Dancing With The Stars hottie, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and fellow cast member Karina Smirnoff (who was dating Mario Lopez a few months ago) are engaged.

News to you? BIG news to me? I didnt know they were dating, much less engaged! But love conquers all, so they say. Maksim popped the question on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas. He presented Smirnoff with a three-karat Harry Winston platinum and diamond engagement ring tucked inside of a Louis Vuitton bag. How sweet.
